Denise (Dee) Ann Parsons (nee Dini), passed away on November 17, 2023, in Bristol, TN at the age of 70. She was born on July 31, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois to her parents, Anthony and Rita Dini (nee Marcheschi). Devoted to her family, Dee leaves behind her son, Bobby (Jessica) Parsons; daughter, Angela (Joey) Jenkins; and her adoring grandchildren, Nikkolas, Sam, Mayson, Wyatt, Lucas, and Bailee.

She was a source of strength and love, not only to her immediate family but also to her brother, David (Patti) Dini; sister, Marie (Mike Circo) Dini; nieces, nephews, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though the loss of her parents, Anthony and Riti Dini, and daughter-in-law, Heather Parsons preceded her in death, their memories remained cherished in her heart.

She worked at HEHS until 2015. After Dee’s retirement from HEHS in School District 211, she moved south to be with her children.

Her passion for cooking brought joy and satisfaction to countless family gatherings, where her delicious creations filled the hearts and stomachs of those she loved. Her kitchen was always open, and her table was a place where laughter, love, and memories were shared. Beyond her culinary talents, she found immense happiness in simply spending time with her family. Whether engaging in lively conversations or creating lasting memories, Dee's presence illuminated every occasion. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel cherished and valued, ensuring that each experience was infused with love. Dee's battle with cancer was a difficult journey, but it never deterred her from being the incredible person she was. She faced this formidable adversary with courage and determination. In respecting her wishes, she did not want a traditional funeral service.

In remembrance of Dee, her family requests that donations be made in her name to Ballad Health Hospice House, 280 Steeles Rd., Bristol, TN 37620. As we say our final goodbyes, let us remember the precious moments shared, the laughter that echoed within her presence, and the love that she so freely gave. In our hearts, Dee's memory will forever live on, a reminder of the remarkable woman she was and the impact she made on this world.
