Tom Kendall

Thomas M. Kendall, 64, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Dunlap, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at his home.

He was born on December 28, 1953, in Peoria, IL, to John and Dorothy Kendall. He married Kathryn Paul in August 1992.
Surviving are his wife and two children, Michael and Matthew. Also surviving are his siblings, Colleen (Dennis) Koehler, Gregory (Jannette) Kendall, John R. Kendall, Stephen Kendall and Cynthia Kendall.

Tom graduated from Dunlap High School, Southern IL University and Eastern IL University.
He began his teaching and coaching career at Pittsfield High School (IL) and retired from Hoffman Estates High School (IL) in 2009. He was a basketball coach for Judson University (IL), Desert Ridge High School (AZ) and most recently Benedictine University (AZ).

He moved to Arizona in 2009, where he certified his passion for wine as a sommelier and continued to enjoy coaching, as well as golf and fine dining.
