Tom (TOH) Hillesheim (1940-2013)
We miss you...


I am sorry to have to tell you that our TOH passed away this morning here at home after being on Hospice for three weeks.  He was peaceful and not hurting and Mark, Kristie, Amy and I were here. Lori had been here three weeks ago.  The visitation will be at Smith-Corcoran funeral home in Palatine on Friday,July 12.  The Mass is at Holy Family in Inverness at 10:30 on Saturday,   July 13 with a visitation from 9:30 to 10:15  at church.  Burial is at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery and then back to Holy family for lunch.  If you are able to send this to all of our Hoffman family, I would so appreciate your help.  Thank you Linda.   Barbara Hillesheim and family


Thomas O. Hillesheim
June 30, 1940 - July 09, 2013

Thomas O. Hillesheim, of Rolling Meadows passed away on July 9, 2013 at the age of 75. Thomas was a graduate of Palatine High School. He received his Bachelors degree from Illinois State University and his Masters degree from Roosevelt University. He was a former football coach and teacher at Palatine High School, Assistant Principal at Fremd High School and the First Principal at Hoffman Estates High School. Thomas was the beloved husband of Barbara nee Marchiando for over 53 years. Loving father of Lori (Ross) Raggio, Kristie (Jeff) Charles, Mark (Cindy) Hillesheim and Amy Hillesheim; cherished grandfather of Clarissa, Nathan, Gabriel, Nick, Dante, Dominic, Bryanna, Aleezandra and Yoana; brother of Jim (Phyllis) Hillesheim and Judy (Lou) Turner; brother-in-law of Dominic (Kristine) Marchiando.

Funeral Information
Visitation Friday, July 12, from 3-8 pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine and Saturday 9:30 am at Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd, Inverness until time of Mass at 10:30 am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Info 847-359-8020.
