It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brett Albin, age 39, of Union, who passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2024. Brett was the beloved husband of Danielle for 11 years and a devoted father to Lily and Noah. He was a man whose love for his family knew no bounds, and his presence brought joy to all who knew him. A proud and dedicated father, Brett was known for the joy and fun he brought to every situation. He instilled values of kindness, faith, and compassion in his children, leaving a legacy of love that will continue to inspire them for years to come. His love for his wife, Danielle, was a true testament to the strength of their bond, and their faith and love was the foundation of their life. Brett had a heart that was generous and caring, always putting others before himself. He was known for sharing his faith with others and his love for the Iowa Hawkeyes, golfing, and being at the lake with his family. His warmth, wisdom, and infectious sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Brett is survived by his loving wife Danielle, daughter Lily, and son Noah; parents, Art and Debbie Albin; sister, Kristin Mayo (Brian); grandfather, Howard Brazelton; father and mother-in-law, Mike and Karla Kraft; brother-in-law, Chris Kraft (Trish); sister-in-law, Katelyn Vogelsang (Tim); sister-in-law, Melissa Kraft (Scott); and 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Crossroads Church, Florence. Funeral services will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. Brett will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery.
